Langford man Wins Tax Break Due to Neighbour's Illegal Business

A Langford man has successfully got himself and all his neighbours a break on their property taxes after arguing that a drywall business run out of a home on the block has devalued their residences.
Retiree George Manning appealed his property assessment, and therefore will pay lower taxes, by arguing the municipality failed to shut down a commercial drywall business on Kingswood Road, off Goldstream Avenue.
