In a resent study, it was found that Canadians consume far more than the recommended levels of sodium (salt). The concern with excess sodium consumption is it has been linked to an increase risk of high blood pressure (hypertension).

Between Monterey and Carmel is a stunning 17-mile road. The road winds through Monterey Peninsula . On one side is the rocky shores of the Pacific Ocean and on the other are emerald fairways of the famous golf course, Pebble Beach. The road takes you to amazing look-outs, wonderful picnic spots and sandy bays. People travel the road by car but many travel by bike as well. It is a must experience when visiting Monterey.
