Hi,
This was the e-mail that I sent to friends in order to provide Surrey Parks & Recreation feedback on how they would like East Clayton Heights Pocket Park. Plus provide feedback to Surrey Parks & Recreation feedback that a dog park is needed in Clayton Heights.
East Clayton Heights Pocket Park
On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 there was an Open House for East Clayton Pocket Park to get feedback on what residence would like to see in the pack. If you missed the Open house, you still can provide feedback to Surrey Park & Recreation on what you would like to see with the park.
If you have ideas please send them to Surrey Parks & Recreation:

Dog Park in Clayton Heights
On Tuesday, September 11, 2007 there was an Open House for East Clayton Pocket Park and I was said that I was not able to attend.
As a resident that has just moved to the area, it would be great if a dog park was planned for Clayton Heights. I have a chocolate lab and I walk him every day. The city has done a great job making Clayton Heights a very walker friendly place but what it is missing is a place for dogs and dog owners to meet. A dog park in Clayton Heights would be a great place for dogs to play and a great place for dog owners to meet up.
I know there is a need as I see about 30 dogs walk by my house on a daily bases and my dog, CoCo, lets me know about each one of them.
After viewing the other three completed parks in Clayton Heights, it would be nice to specifically see for East Clayton Pocket Park:
- A garbage can that is emptied regularly.
- A playground for kids.
- A reason for adults to go the park. In many of the other parks there is grass and a few trees. It would be nice to have a picnic table, basketball court full walking paths through them.
Thank you for your time.
Please do e-mail me back to confirm that you have received this e-mail.
