Travel Destination

Sooke Potholes - Sooke, British Columbia, Canada

Sooke Potholes are a series of deep, polished rock pools and potholes carved naturally into the bedrock of the crystal clear waters of the Sooke River . The potholes are a popular swimming spot and picnicking destination in the summer. Sooke Potholes is a 50 minute drive west of downtown Victoria via Highway 14. Prior to taking a dip, you could take a 1 to 2 hour moderate level hike in the area and cool of with a dip in the potholes.
